CSS Webinar - Do Per- and Poly-fluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Cause Cancer in Humans?
This webinar will examine the evidence that PFAS cause cancer in humans. The first presentation will discuss potential molecular targets of PFAS that may be linked to induction of cancer. The second presentation will discuss epidemiological evidence that PFAS exposure leads to cancer in humans.

The primary concepts covered in this webinar will include 1) high throughput transcript profiling as an approach to identify molecular targets of PFAS, 2) rodent susceptibility to PFAS-induced cancer, and 3) conflicting evidence that PFAS induces cancer in humans.

The webinar will be of broad interest to SOT members, especially graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, who may not directly work in the field of carcinogenesis or computational toxicology but wish to expand their knowledgebase.

The webinar will consist of two 20-minute presentations followed by a 20-minute moderated question/answer session with the speakers.

Registration is required.
